Lovely, lovely nicotine.A Poem by Samantha KoshiolCirca 2011. Lots of lovely depressing pieces from that era. This is not one of them.Inhale that sweet smoke slow. Blow it out, watch it rise. Lovely nicotine, my mistress of a dirty love affair, I must abide. I can't hide, the scent lingers on my fingers. It's meant to keep me craving, and forces common folk to continue misbehaving. Five dollars a day doesn't seem to faze me. Hard earned cash turned to cancer, and I rarely question quitting So I've got no other answer. But I steady stress over debts and waste money uselessley, so it's hard to believe that to this very day, Thousands of dollars have gone towards RJ Reynolds way. © 2012 Samantha Koshiol |
