Some Draw

Some Draw

A Poem by Maxine

Some draw,
long, swooping lines,
Without a flaw.

Some sing,
occapello or acompanied,
Their voices ring.

A few write,
Prose or poetry,
Black on white.

What do I do?
Well...nothing much.
I'm nothing new.

I read, a lot.
Draw a little,
I haven't really been taught.

I can write, I guess.
Better than most.
But it's still a mess.

I mostly just read,
Fantasy, Fiction,
A lot, indeed.

I might have a flair for something,
Maybe violin,
Maybe I will sing.

Or maybe not,
Maybe I'll have to work hard,
A battle well fought.
