Love You

Love You

A Poem by Maxine

I love you,
Do you love me?
I  need to know,
this is killing me.

I keep dropping hints,
Giving you clues,
about the ways,
that I feel about you.

Do you think I'm just a friend,
Or do you like me too?
Tell me, Tell me,
I don't want to tell you.

I'm afraid, scared,
that you don't like me,
no in that way.
That friends is all we'll be.

and even if you do like me,
how could it be?
my dad, you're mom,
don't want us to date, you see.

would you love me enough to not care?
could we still date?
I hope that you would,
our parents we might hate.

Do you think I'm just a friend,
Or do you like me too?
tell me, Tell me,
I don't want to tell you.

our love was just not meant to be,
but I really couldn't help it,
How about you?
Do you like me too?

please tell me that you want me,
Please tell me we should date,
but we can't we can't,
My parents I would hate.

Maxine-- it's definitely a good start. The grammatical errors are: "no in that way" should be "not in that way." "...you're mom" should be "...your mom." It is definitely a good start! Keep it up!
