The Perfect Sandwhich

this was a casual assignment for school that I decided to have a little fun with

The perfect sandwich. 

 

Honestly, I could go a few different angles with that 

 

I could take it down one road that involves a

Whole wheat bun

Toasted so that there was just a

Hint of crunch and a

Turkey burger that was

Browned just the

Right amount

 

Juicy

 

And with provolone

Some avocados

Ripe and made

Just right

And room for red onions and

Tomato

 

But just one slice

 

Or I could take it

In a loaf of French bread

Brown on the outside

Baked warm on the

Inside

Piled high

With

T

 

Bacon slightly chewy

Mayo and mustard caught

In the curves of the

Lettuce

Tomatoes embellished

With a hint of

Balsamic vinaigrette

The bite that

Makes it so fresh and

Delicious

 

Or I could dig it

The old fashioned

Way

Classic PB

And J

But it has to be

Strawberry

Jelly

Spread thin on

Dark rye

Country Kitchen style

With the peanut

Butter

With the

Chunks

 

So every bite I can

Hear the crunch

Behind my jaw bones

 

And I could wrap that meal up

Or unwrap perhaps one of

The best

“After sandwich”

Sandwiches I’ve ever had

 

The Neapolitan

 

One third dark

One third light

One third pink

Three thirds

Fantastic

With a

Soft chocolate

Cookie cast and a

No mess wrapper

Flawless it seems

Dreams of strawberry vanilla

Creamy chocolate

Dessert for dinner
