Damages Of A Lie

when a lie is told it doesdamages untold

It causes hurt and pain and families unfold

It makes a persons heart grow old and cold

A lie is a lie no matter why it's told

It breaks the bond and trust thats there

And hurts the ones that care

It causes stress and pain thats hard to repair

When you see the damage it's done

You also see all thats gone

You try to pick up the pieces one by one

And try to repair the damage thats done

It's like trying to put together a puzzle when there are pieces gone

You feel hurt and depressed knowing their gone

Life is hard and cold and hurts to the bone

Knowing your all alone

Life is liks a puzzle that pieces are lost and destroyed

And you try as hard as you might to fill that void

You only end up feeling depressed and annoyed

You cry and cry till you can cry no more

And it leaves your heart and body old and sore

And you miss the family thats there no more

You hope and hope that some day there will be a knock at the door

I pray to the Lord to look after my lost sheep

 Until they're found I can not sleep

When they are found I will shout out loud

Then I can go to sleep on my cloud

 Only then I can rest

Because i'll know I've done my best !
