Mr. Sunshine

Crying deeply in the corner, all the way to the end of the library, sinking into it. A hand extended towards me.

"Don't worry, I'm right here!" he exclaimed. A ray of sunlight then travels across his face, and his eyes gleam like stars in the sky. I slowly reached out, hoping that I hadn't made a mistake in trusting someone.

He softly took it without hesitation. His hands were so warm, like summer. And his smile was as bright as the crescent moon in the sky....

He's- He's my little ray of brightness...

My stallion in dazzling armor...

It has been 17 years since that occurred. I was in third grade when we first met.

I was startled awake by a noise. Sigh, it was all just a dream. My sleepy eyes survey the entire library . I wondered whether if was all a nightmare. I wondered where he gone too. He stated that he will always be present. But now is the time when I really need him. However, he is nowhere to be seen. I sank further into my chair. I reached inside my pocket and took out a wrapper. I'm such a moron. Why do I still believe his statements and keep a chivalry wrapping from him.

Why do I cry like a baby all the time... 

Then something brushed against my head. It twice patted me like an animal. 

"Well, isn't this scene familiar?" A deep and sweet voice spoke up. I looked around.

He was the one. The ray of sunlight that passed through my life and took me to the light. His dazzling smile remained the same. I wish I could have that grin and those brilliant eyes like him.

I returned his smile. He rediscovered me after years apart. And brought joy back into my existence.

He handed me chocolate; he always has some on him and gives it to me when I'm down. I even have the wrappers... When my tears fell on it, it tasted delicious but salty. He only provides warmth.

He's quite popular, and I wish I could be like him.
