Till the End of the Moon

He claims he is neither human nor God. He never eats, sleeps, or cries. But I've seen him cry before; he's simply in denial. I saw him at the burial, bawling his eyeballs out for someone; his mother's death. He began arriving on the day I was going to die. We agreed that I would die painlessly and then expressed a wish. But for that price, I'd have the person I care about most die alongside me. He appears to be extremely different from the person I met a long time ago. 

[Present Time....]

It's been two weeks since he left, and I've done everything to attract his attention back, but it hasn't worked. I think he had to go for something important? But what else does he do all day than follow me around? IDK. Still, he should remember that I have 100 days left to live and have yet to make a wish. He should not break the agreement we made from the start...

I came to a halt at the red light, waiting for the signal to cross. A hand crept inside mine.

  
"Sorry if I didn't show up." When I looked up, he was there.

"That scared me." she says. Eun-Hui turns around and says, "Your pretty ridiculous too." "How could you threaten to jump off?"
"You heard everything, and you still didn't show up!" she says, turning serious eyes on him.

He raised his head. The girl was disappointed because she had been ignored.

A sound alerted us that it was safe to cross the street. I took one step, and the next thing I knew, I was in an amusement park.. Blossom trees; flowers fluttered like wild, winded up, and flew away to another location. Lights flashed, and shouts came and went. In the midst of it all, there was me and him. 

I looked around. "What is this?" "You said you were happy on that day." Ji-Yeon gave me a friendly smile. Her eyes sparkled. Her cheeks pressed together in a smile. He began guiding her to the Ferris Wheel, a spherical, large circular object with dozens of lights illuminating it. 
[Fast forward. On the Ferris Wheel]  

The Ferris wheel rotated slowly. She made eye contact with him after looking out the window. "Well, you are useful in many ways IG..."
Silenced filled the air.
"Why are you staring at me?" Ji-Yeon asked. 
He inquired. "Because you're in front of me?" She laughed. "Then should I move to the other side?" She shifted her gaze to the side he was sitting on. "This will not do. It will be angled." He chuckles, then shake his head. She takes another glance out the window. 

"It's very lovely....It looks like it's going away soon."

"Most things that will disappear are beautiful." He says something. She laughs..... "I want that to happen when I die." "I hope those who are left forget about me," she sighed. "So they won't be sad as a result of me." "I wish I could vanish like that, as if I'd evaporated," she sighed. Eun-Hui sat there staring at her, as if expecting her to say something. She turned around to face him. "By any chance can that be granted as a wish.?" 

He moved in closer and kissed her on the lips. Her inquiry was still unanswered after that. 

[Later]

"You always do that out of nowhere?" she asks dissatisfied. "Do what?" he asked, perplexed.

"That." she inquires calmly. "What? What about the kiss?" Eun-hui inquiries. 

"Well, you didn't have to say it specifically." She tsk by annoyance.

He lets out a sigh. "Don't use your wish for others." He takes a look at her. "I would do the majority of these things for you, so think harder and longer." As a result, you will have no regrets." The young lady sighed. "I did use my wish for myself, but you just didn't grant it."

[Flashback] "I-I just want you to love me-..." I had a few tears on my cheek...

"Can-" I gulped for breath. "Can I wish that too?" with a brittle voice, the girl said. 
"No."

[Flashback concludes]

.
"But you said no." I inquired, perplexed. Eun-hui only smiled and moved closer. "For that, you don't need to use your wish." 

"What do you mean by-"  
BUMP!
The girl glanced around, curious as to who she had run into. 

"I'm sorry!" While holding two cotton candy, the female said. One is blue and the other is pink. With wide eyes, the girl glanced at the young but elderly woman. At that moment, she realized she looked familiar. 

"Oh, are you okay!?" The woman apologized hurriedly, looked up and down, checking to see if she was okay.    

"Are you okay?" the woman inquired once more. 

"Are you okay?" Another voice, although this time it was deeper, appeared. The girl, still in astonishment, did not respond, instead her eyes welled up with tears. She raced away to the man after giving up on asking and waiting for an answer. Which appeared to be the spouse and two children, a boy and a girl who appeared to be a little taller than him. 

"MOM!" They both shrieked and ran, each holding cotton candy.  A boy and a girl. Huh.. "Let's ride on the Ferris wheel while eating cotton candy!" They all cheered as they made their way towards the Ferris wheel. I stood there in disbelief. Her throat felt as if it were constricting. 

This turned out to be only a vivid memory he had showed her. After her parents perished in a vehicle accident, it was a significant memory for her. "I thought you would want to see it." He inquired. 

The girl took another step forward, towards the recollection, but it vanished. She was transported to another spot the moment she wished to see it, once more."But I can only show it to you for a limit amount of time." He said something.  

They were in the midst of a crosswalk with people crossing the roadway. Fingers glided between and through her hands. He then guided her away from the crosswalk and onto the sidewalk. She sucked for oxygen as hard as she could. She sighed again. 

"Did I do something wrong again?" Eun-hui was perplexed after witnessing the girl cry. She smiled up at him as tears streamed down her cheeks. "No," the voice broke. She proceeded to wipe her tears and stated, "I'm happy- she claims. "It's because I'm happy that's why I'm crying." "Just tears of joy you know."

"Ji-Yeon ." Eun-hui explained. The girl immediately turned to face him. "Yes.?" She inquires. 

"Like me..." He replied. "You can like me now, because I don't care about anything but you now." "You don't need to use your wish, okay?" "This is my answer..." "So-"
