Sometimes you just need to push

Sometimes you just need to push

A Poem by Krista Graham

Peeling bananas with my feet

Jigsaw puzzle on my head

I just launched the whole British fleet

With a dead squirrel. That’s what she said.

I’m delivering the mail

Dressed like an ape

I’m aware of my fingernails

I DARE them to escape
