Memoir of a Recluse

Memoir of a Recluse

A Poem by Krista Graham

It’s hide tide on Mars

New years day in Hell

There’s two time zones in Montana

Under six feet of water

Throw your shoes at the sun

Sit on the clouds and ponder

They let their kids to go out and play

While you hang your tears out to dry

Wonder swamplands just for fun

It’s low tide on your mind

Time to go to bed.

it's really good and thought-provoking mate, but put in some punctuation and it could be top class! It made me look at it twice to try and discover the meaning - great work!
