Views From the PorchA Poem by Cas MurrayIt is as if the trees dangle from the sky. The empty limbs bare against the lilac wallpaper; the most beautiful room in the house. The sun would set in the glass doors; a painting most nights.
The lilac transcends to black and here I am underneath the stars. My moon I would say; Forever I will remain a child at heart.
With the sky being my limit; the porch my stage,
I will dance in the rain with no one watching. © 2018 Cas MurrayFeatured Review
