It's a long hard road that we travel.

All alone in my head

The season's changing once again
Choosing the road that we'll tread
We're gonna meet in the end

I'm all alone in my head
Staring at the ceiling above my bed
So many thoughts in my head

I'm still alone in my head
This lonely road that we tread
Our paths crossed we tied a thread

Always alone in my head
You left me here in the end
But it's all just in my head

You're always with me 'til the end.

Now that this is the third poem I've read, I'm beginning to pick up a pattern - although I can't speak for your other works that I haven't read yet. Anyway, I notice your poems are very psychological and often have to deal with the mind. I mean this as purely a compliment because neurology has always fascinated me and I think that it adds a interesting subconscious depth to your work. Keep writing!

The mind is a very intricate and beautiful thing, it fascinates me as well. There are a few poems that go together and I believe I have them all tagged the same but I will have to double check. When I write poetry I mostly write from my heart and from the emotions that I am feeling. Sometimes it is the only way I can cope with things which is what the case is in these. With out writing I think I would have drowned in the sea of emotion that was crashing down on me. Thank you for review, and I hope you enjoy some of my fictional works as well. :)
