WILLOWS

WILLOWS

A Poem by Marie
"

...image os willows...

"

Willows bend

With careless grace,

Dropping leaf-green

Scarves of lace

Into pools

Of silver cream;

Willows dance

And droop and dream.

I really enjoyed this, it is short but sweet. It somehow reminds me of a place in my childhood that I had almost forgotten.

'A graceful song for
a willow tree.
A dreamy poem for
you and me.

Ooh...I feel as if I've stumbled into faerie land...
Tempo/flow was spot on and song-like.
Please post more; I'd love to see what other morsels you have to offer. *smile*
