infinity

infinity

A Poem by knightcall

today could be forever
but why take that chance
our rain has just begun to fall
run with me through the streets
we'll hesitate at the thunder
think about the drops to come

i hardly know you
but i know your eyes
we watch the sun cut
walk slow with wrapped hands
get a grasp of tomorrow and
slide it in our pockets

does fate wear a disguise slowly revealed
sometimes i'm not sure what i'm seeing
who we're becoming and who we're being
there is time pulling up the curtain
this love so fresh, so uncertain
i feel another storm juggling into time
