fire doesn't understand redA Poem by knightcalltonight the red lights it seemed they never stopped flashing and they were pointed my direction i never know what to do with that the number of questions that i answer does that lead to a diagnosis or does it presume all those respond are the same now i know sometimes i catch cases that stick there's no avoiding it tonight was a bad night even before i was called in sometimes i miss the isolation the walls that only know my name the night walks down long halls dark and quiet tonight i drove by the smaller places the smaller places i'd like to work a couple of friends said they were happy to see me and i could only think i'd like to say goodbye again
