a tree falls

so many times I’ve wondered

i can't seem to get the clues

can my past life show me the way or

should i stay invisible

i've lost my voice

no one can hear me in this world

i get the ignition of transmission

i try to make it clear and a transparency 

no one hears it all

i need some time

time to tinker with the sound

trapped in my solitary mind

you got me spinning and looking twice

i need to know

if the message is getting through

can’t you see the light's coming through warming my fever

i put all the letters

where they're easy to understand

i'm sure that i don't know

can you match me on what i'm saying

i'm as unique as what i'm creating

a tsunami of what i've transposed

vertical lines become funnels

can anyone comprehend after understanding

does anyone at all hear me

the words take a higher inflection 

before lowering down to guttural 

tsunami take me higher

i've got to write this down

which poem to show

i've lost the key

if the poem is written in a forest

does anyone hear it
