A Poem by knightcall

the bubbles push up to the dark
let me share your straw sister
we really should get to know each other better
when the sun comes up
i'll still be the same
maybe not as handsome
half as charming as last night

this storm leaves an imprint
a stumbling walk with a squint
i'm so glad you come over
play some candlelight poker
so glad that the lack of lighting
definitely didn't take you to flighting

i'm so glad you decided to join the tag
your voice and the shadow caressing your face
made me forget my cards
made me forget how to play

will it be a trip wire
will it be wireless
