cusp of a wind

cusp of a wind

A Poem by knightcall

what do i do
because i know i'm on
the cusp of a beginning
the sun rose seven times this morning
i opened my eyes and
i believed

lightning travels horizontal
gravity has no effect
everything i once knew
discarded and disintegrated into the wind
and i really should be in disbelief
still i believe

something grabs me when i wake
a feeling that i've never known
and i'm all about finishing this old life
i'm in transition and all i have to look for is
the flag that holds the wind and
that wind is you
