west to east

west to east

A Poem by knightcall

if thoughts could travel
surely you would have received mine by now
impulses travel quicker in the heat
my head keeps sending out reckless calamities
i know you'll make sense of it
just as you make sense of the situation you are in now
i won't turn and walk away
no matter what prognosis
the details between two worlds
somehow I'll know
don't argue with me love
today i wanted to trash a room made of concrete
take anything and smash it against the walls
the sweetest lady that i visited she's in stage four
she's just holding on trying to make the best of what she's got left
and i reserve the right to be angry at God
why is the ones that love
go through the most
sometimes it's definitely the time to move on
i see it all the time
and i still try to make sense of it
somewhere my father and my uncles
every single one of my grandparents
they have the answers somewhere
but for now
i wonder about the struggles
i wonder about the good ones
and i wonder about the next time
i will try to trash a room
i hope for pebbles in a concrete room
