call it a virus

call it a virus

A Poem by knightcall

call this a virus
call you a virus
i want you out of my veins
you may no longer hide in
the fibers inside my muscle

i'm tired of my throat being on fire
coughing through conversations
and i
don't want to sit in traffic
on my way home from the pharmacy
wondering if
i'll make it home in time

now i know
i didn't bring this home from the hospital
but i know i can't bring it in
time boxes hanging on the wall
record it all
but they won't be recording me

no one is supposed to be
sick in summer
this thing is really kicking my a*s
and i wonder what the weakest link will do
without my help without help
press F1 for Thomas
i'm sorry but
that program has left the building
thank you very much
