desert sun

desert sun

A Poem by knightcall

was there ever a moment
before you and i began
if heaven turns off its lights tonight
will you meet by by candlelight
so i can trace the turns of your face by
touch with the GPS of my heart

i won't share you with the stars
we can lay in the shade of the moon
the shadows of the universe
they make a blanket
covering us like space dust

you ask me
if i think you're beautiful
and i say
you will be
longer than the planets will circle the sun
as long as we chase comets with our eyes
and new stars form
after you and i began
