A Poem by knightcall

the morning came and shook me awake
sleep can be cruel
it can fool you that
you haven't lost
you don't have love that goes on
into the next world

there's no question that i loved you
plenty of them now that you had to go
where exactly you are
what could have happened
if we had a little more time

i run into another vision of you
around every corner
you're there waiting
whispering into my ear
Thomas, you've got to move on

So sweet, she is indeed a lucky gal! Tell her I said hello.....and that she's lucky indeed

Moving on ...you penned the truth so well in this poem of letting go. It speaks volume of the anguish and emotions that one experiences in such situations. Nice!

Well done Thomas. You put it best in the very last line. Keep on penning.
