discovery

i had stopped believing

i had built many walls around me

do you believe in discovery

because i believe in you

and the discovery of you is endless

i did not fall for an image

Lord, that's much too much a cliche

you gave me the combination to your world

and i looked inside the rain

discovering you again

i could pick you some flowers

but i'd rather pick you some words instead

arrange them like they were strings

connect them to a symphony and

play an ode to discovery

you keep revealing

you keep revealing the discovery

Marvelous. Actually that word does not do this justice...not one bit. You have some lines here that are descriptive yet tie others together with little strings that hint at a man who craves something in his life. I could be wrong about that. Maybe I read this wrong but regardless it was well penned. But then again everything you pen is wonderful.
