wire and strings

wire and strings

A Poem by knightcall

she was a rock and roll player
raised on Zepp and Slayer
when she plucked her wire
the fans would light up their fire

oh she was raised on rock and roll
playing lights out at the Hollywood bowl
oh the shred of her bass
pieces of it all over the place

like a comet wrapping around the neck
what good is a guitar you can't wreck
she'd remind everyone it's about the notes
whatever words creativity floats

and the band would slow down and step aside
cause one thing rock and roll can't do is hide

I love the feel to this one! Can almost hear the music in the background and moving to the beat. Well done. Great rhyme and flow. Keep on penning.
