dust rose

dust rose

A Poem by knightcall

shaving the roses
dropping them into an envelope
sending them west

frustrated by 57 hours
i send you messages
but there is no reply
there is no synchronicity to
communication

and i must admit
my overworked amnesia has
made me forget
how you feel
what you feel

maybe i have forgotten nothing
and i'm merely inside
a curiosity phase
sleep deprivation robs me
but i plant seeds
sending them toward the sun

This poem brought me to my knees!! The feelings which over take my being when I read your written words is at times indescribeable. Beautiful Poem!!

Well penned. I hope you finally get some rest for your sleep deprived brain. Love the roses in the first stanza. Keep on penning.

Closely I view this as thoughts within my own head. You composed these words from a beautiful soul that projects wisdom in every arch. Beautifully done.
