Chapter one

(I don't like explaining chapters as it gives it away haha)

Her head bows as she walks past the shop. Then she reaches out to touch the glass. It's coldness making her frown slightly as she rubs a smiley face into it. The shopkeeper looks over and she quickly runs from sight. May is her name and she always gets into deep, deep trouble wherever she is, whatever she does...

You can already sense that May has a very unique innocence from just infering this short chapter. Nice.

Thank you very much :) I prefer to do shorter chapters for two reasons. One. As it is better for when you don't want loads and just want to have a quick read. Two. Because it can get the plot going more. Upcoming chapters probs gonna be longer :) Thanks so much :D
