Beyond

I wrote this for my new friend, he just became my friend a few days ago. and im sad becuase hes leaving. but this is for him.

I went beyond his bumpy face,

into his deep blue eyes,

found a quiet soul,

and befriended it.

the soul is what really matters, what is the face without the soul but a hollow shell of humanity. Cold and distant hunk of flesh with no identity or emotions. Short and sweet! I liked this
