The Note

This is a true story :) haha its a song but he says that its like a poem so

I walk down the hall and you're talkin' to my friend

Didn't think nothin' of it so I just kept walkin'

Later to find out what you were talking about

With no doubt, you were talking about me

I was kinda curious. Don't wana miss understand

Then, my friend came up to me and put a note in my hand

On top of the folded creeses it said:

From some one secret ;) to Kaitlyn

As I unfold the paper, I know what it will say

I'm dying to know word-by-word anyway     it said:

 

"I just wanted to tell you, that I really like you.

You are funny, pretty, and just plain out special.

I was wondering if you liked me too.

And if you would like to go out with me.

     p.s talk to you at gym

     p.s.s secretly"

 

The funny thing is, it was cold outside

I didn't have my jacket but I was warm inside

I didn't see you in the lunch room, until we got in the line

You didn't seem no different. You even said "hi"

I couldn't say nothin' bad. Could it have been a trick?

No it couldn't have. Not a choice you would pick.

I got excited. And I couldn't hide it.

I'm telling you, I reallu liked it.

Filled with suh emotion. Don't know what to say

How can I face you, feeling this way?

Time passes by, thinking about you

You're in my head. You keep running through

I can't get you off my mind

I'm not like this all the time

 

Finally time comes. We're in gym again

I'm so nervous. On a scale I'm a 10.

I look in your direction. I notice your friends starring at me

Not so sure why, but it kinda made me happy

Waiting for you to come over to me. But, instead came your friends

So many questions, they're asking me. I want to answer and not pretend

Yes, I got the note. Yes, I like you too

And yes, I would reallu like to talk to you

A million of girls must fall for you

Our of everyone, I'm the one you choose

I won't turn you down. You know that I cant

You were brave enough to take a chance

I hope you like this song. I wrote it just for you
