Lacking

Lacking

A Poem by Poetry Girl

I think you know what I'm thinking.
I think you know how I feel.
I think you know what I'm talking about,
When I say that I can't heel.
It's happened over and over.
I've always been able to bounce back.
But this time was different.
This time I was of lack.
I was lacking strength.
Lacking ability.
Lacking words.
But not humility,
Now I am of alone,
Sitting here crying.
Because of what you did.
That left my soul dying.
But I must say,
That it doesn't seem that way.
I'm good at hiding the truth.
My feeling that aloof.
For I was lacking.

There's nothing wrong with moments of weakness now and then. Good one.
