love poem

I'll love you til' the end of the world

or until you let me go.

At the end of the day you're the man I want

and I hope it always shows.

I could lay in your arms for hours on end,

making love underneath the stars;

your smirking lips caressing and tracing

my beautiful battle scars.

I wish that I could lie with you forever and

wake up to your beautiful smile.

I know that I'm not wearring rose-colored glasses,

know this time I'm not stuck in denial.

I'll love you til' the end of the world

or until we pass away.

I hope you know that you're one of the reasons

I have the strength to love today.

I could look into those chocolate eyes forever,

unwrapping the joy trapped by pain;

I want to unwrap your emotions and mind,

lie and soak and bathe.
