Love Poem

I know that this is right,

that this is what I want to do,

and the smile on your face

shows that you want this too.

Your smile so beautiful,

joy radiating off your face,

your smile so contagious

that I can't help but do the same.

These are the times I treasure,

just laying here with you,

feeling the heat from your body,

seeing how happy I make you.

But sometimes I wonder and worry,

because after all, I am human.

I worry about if it will last,

and for just how soon?

Will it last a lifetime,

or just a few years?

I get second thoughts,

sometimes leaving me in tears,

I worry am I good enough

for someone like you,

because my confidence falters

and I wonder if yours does too?

Don't get me wrong,

I'm madly in love;

I just worry and overthink

just like anyone.

You make me feel happy

and leave me feeling free;

in your arms, against your chest

is where I want to be.

All your thoughts are easy to relate to for people in love, you've done a great job showing feelings, though with such a title and theme you could have gone "wilder", more "theatrical", don't be shy with words, you're a poet !! =D
