In a Perfect World...

In a Perfect World...

A Poem by kayla
"

about my 'dream man' :P

"

I need a man who

doesn't define himself by
his bank account,

but by his wealth within-
the prestige that he can offer from inside,

not from the hundreds he can hand out in stacks.
I need a man with inner prestige,

inner assets, wisdom, intelligence,

and life experience, because he knows much more

than a man who has four degrees
and a house on the hills, who's never suffered

a day in his life.

I need a man who can make me
laugh til I'm on the floor

and make love in unconvential ways;

who doesn't care what others think,
doesn't care to judge or be judged,

and see's me for who I am inside-

the same way I see him.

In the second to last line, see's should be sees.

This was sweet in it's simplicity. You know what you want and that's great.

I can dig this. I'd like a woman the same way. It's one of the most under appreciated aspects of "The American Dream"
