Not the OneA Poem by kaylaThis is a poem about loving someone who you know isn't good for you.
No matter how charismatic, how beautiful those eyes,
I know, deep down, you're not the one. You look at me and smile, we laugh and joke, but I know it's only because I haven't put you one edge yet, haven't bothered you, aggravated you, pissed you off. Because if and when I do, that gives you an excuse, the excuse, to hurt and tear down walls I've barely built back up, to become a monster that I don't recognize, that I don't believe in, So as I sit here with you, and you look at me with those beautiful eyes and that smile, I take three steps back, because you're not the one. © 2012 kaylaReviews
