In His Hands

poem from a Christian P.O.V.

"Since the day you were conceived

he's been watching over you,

he's been guiding you through life,

helping you to make it through.

 

Since the day you were born

God has kept you in his hands.

Even when you walked through trials

that you didn't understand.

 

Even in the darkest days:

during the divorce and the teasing,

God's always had a plan for you,

so you just keep on believing.

 

Even when the road gets tough,

little one, stay strong.

He'll always be here for you,

in his hands is where you belong."

 

 

 

Author's Note

I wrote this after looking at the picture. It made me think of a religious mother talking to her son about how God is always there for you. I'm not religious myself, but I respect all religions. Let me know what you think(:
