"giving birth" (paper less words)A Poem by Kenny L. Mitchell
"giving birth” (paper less words)
I see your scrawling pen Scratching beneath the pristine pages Giving solace to your pixilated paragraphs
Where sublime sentences juxtapose To the sanguine suppositions Is where I always find you
Perhaps lost in the silent sonnets Or beneath the secret scriptures Your thoughts become a myriad oasis
You constantly challenge my perception Of who I am or what I could possibly be
I hear a savage moan slip From your elevated pages The labor pains of silhouetted sentences Fall from your vaginal orifice
As I peer closer to the filled pages A solitary tear falls across the Sanskrit You have once again revealed the beauty And illumination of your sensitive spirit
I feel as if I am walking across stars Looking at the beauty of the universe As it unfolds before its divine creator
Giving birth to the beauty of the world I see the cosmos in natural intrinsic value The sheer perfection of the world reflected In your two magnificent eyes
The mother of a thousand splendid suns The celestial Madonna of a million moons Personified as the ageless muse of knowledge
You liquefy my thoughts and nourish me With the supple breasts of knowledge And dazzling gentry of scented words
Let the fruits of your splendid womb Lift me beyond this mortal plane Your guileless wisdom has brought me To the cusp of heaven once more
