"Cheetos Chewing Charity" (Dude! Who Stole My Soul?)A Poem by Kenny L. Mitchell
“CHEETOS CHEWING CHARITY” (Dude! Who Stole My Soul?)
My lackadaisical sarcastic streak Often hides what is painfully obvious YOU DON’T MESS WITH ME (DUDE SERIOUSLY)
I have both fists SWINGING Against the cold stale air Easily flared temper cocked JUST LIKE MY RIGHT FIST
You come into my mind And wonder where’s the exit The only one is suicide
I snort the toxic hash The semblance of sinister rebellion Because that's what gives me The intense rush of a thousand melodies
Society is a broken condom Spitting its stupid climax Perpetually on my sweet parade
The subtle sweetness of yesterday Has crushed against toxic tomorrow While I silently scream MURDER
The future waits for no one Only by exiting the game Refusing to cross the (finish) line Can you ever truly win
Twinkle dark ebon star Rain acidic dust on me As the gentle crush of giants Wade through raging oceans
Only at night when alone Does the proper facade of life Fall like these acidic tears With the uncertainty of tomorrow
