God made his precious angels

In all colors shapes & size

You are my cherished friend

My sweet angel in disguise

 

 

When the dark clouds gather

You give shelter from the storm

When the world is cold to me

Your smile has kept me warm

 

 

Your loving heart and soul

Have always been my inspiration

You have made my gray skies blue

Making each day a celebration

 

 

If I had to name someone

Who is the definition of a friend

You’d be where I would finish

And always where I will begin

 

　

 

Each day that we are given

Is a gift from heaven above

And should be in appreciation

Of the miracle of life & love

 

 

I truly wish to thank you

For being always at my side

And giving the kind of friendship

That fills my heart with pride

 

 

The heart can not be measured

By how much it aches or yearns

But in how much love we give

And the miracle that it returns

 

 

You will always be my angel

Who fell from skies of crystal blue

May his love fall on you always

As your hopes & dreams come true

This is gorgeous! And so sweet it smells like honeysuckle. One little thing that struck me wrong about it.
Here, in this verse,
"God made his precious angels

In all colors shapes & size

You are my cherished friend

My sweet angel in disguise "

You have mixed a plural and a singular. You can fix that one of two ways. The first way is pretty obvious, by making the word "size" plural to "sizes". It's better that the rhyme be a bit off and the plural and singular unmixed. But the other thing is this and you can keep the word "size" Just change "all" to "every" making it singular, "colors" to color and "shapes" to "shape" and you get, " In every color, shape and size" and your rhyme stays perfect. Beautiful piece though, very moving and heartfelt.
