syntax (synthesis)

syntax (synthesis)

A Poem by Kenny L. Mitchell

"syntax (synthesis)"

there is a subtle grace

that bursts through my resonating mind

an ability to see beyond the ethereal darkness

into the thick crude words and syntax

the vicious wounds

and sinister dispositions

of their critical veracitie

s no longer bar my soul

my freedom has been paid for

by the eloquent sweat and tears

of my own literary dysfunction words...

graceful and dazzling

only enlighten the wordless epiphany

of my once gilded discomfort

across the beautiful oasis

the sands of beguiling time

have long since blistered my silicone soul

a verdant equinox

bequeaths the simple texture

and sublime sonnets

to speak volumes of my soul
