ADORATION

 

“ADORATION”

 

While shrouded in darkness

She has come to me

Lifting my fallen spirit

Restoring my broken heart

 

With a small elegant touch

She has shattered the chains

The melancholy bitter spirit

That once consumed my soul

 

Queen of a THOUSAND stars

She sits in abject beauty

Even the angels in Heaven

Give pause to such pageantry

 

Let others sip upon pride

My stunning Queen inspires  

Like the perfect sunset

That catches the artist’s eye

  

Without having to try

She captures my heart

Treating a discarded toy

With such lovely relevance

 

Gazing into brilliant eyes

Like staring into the sun

She leaves me breathless

With such a delicate kiss

 

Across the burning sands

She is my sweet oasis

The cool sweet water

That falls upon my lips

 

Stay with me forever

Our hearts beat as one

You’re all that I need

And what I always adore
