Temporary Possession

Temporary Possession

A Poem by Kelly

She takes her clothes off

As he likes it

She’s split wide open

Stripped of any disguise

She’s his for the taking

As he likes it

He trembles a bit

Yet dignified

Finally

Finally

She draws a nervous breath

Finally

Finally

They’re going down

Watch them fall

Meshing together

Softening the blow

Tensing at the touch

Twisted and mangled

Hands all over

Breathing harder

Breathing faster

With every sigh

Finally

Finally

For too long they’ve been starved

Living

Biding time

Breathing

Longing

Finally

Finally

His

Hers

Temporary possession

Where will they go?

When the music’s over

When it’s the end

They will separate

Living

Biding time

Breathing

Starving again

But for now

It’s as they like it

Very good word choice and I like the verbs the most, they illustrate the scene very accurately. The repetition of 'finally' gives you a great image of the past, and you managed to place those at the best place in your poem. Well done, I love it!
