Secret Heart

Here, have a lame poem.

Her secret heart was on lock and key

Desires for no one to see

His English heart was her American dream

Different stars

Not meant to be

Lock the heart

Throw away the key

 

Her secret heart didn't want to care

Not used to anyone there

The whole world was unaware

Her secret heart

Was beating again

almost feels like a celebrity relationship...but trying to make it work coming from different continents doesn't work...difference in miles...difference in culture..

perhaps it just won't work because she has been hurt before...too much pain so she secludes herself from love.

i like older Leo, but this is such a nice poem, feeling love again and it being so separated. like star crossed lovers. you are very talented in your idea to word usage it gives great imagery.
