Oh ho ho! There's a kid who can't keep his hands to himself, eh? We need to shove him back to his mama's cradle! XD
Good style and adopting the right voice and tone to your poetry. This is important, because such a poem, if you used a gentle voice to it, might turn out to be:
1. Different but in a good way,if you handled it well
2. Really awkward if you didn't handle it well.
I really don't know what to say, you got me laughing all over the floor. I like its simplicity, and how you said 'big kids', yet straightforward that you got to the point even when it's so short. Now, it's time to shove the little kids out of my backyard, hahaha!

You're right. I re-read over this, trying to imagine it written in a softer voice, and it changed the undertone so drastically it seemed like a different poem entirely!
The idea for this poem actually came from a friend of mine in the military. We were talking about some of the recruits going through training. He chuckled and told me that some of them were like little kids, and that they either needed to grow up or get out of the park, because the big kids were playing.
Anyway, thanks for the read : )

Hahaha, that's one funny tale! And you're welcome :)
Kids can be so awful to each other can't they? I wonder where they get it from. methinks they see a little too much real life way to soon. We are after all, meant to be role models for them, so no real surprise they can be nasty too. Nicely done Kaitlyn
