To Hear A Voice

To Hear A Voice

A Poem by Kaitlyn
"

A poem about acceptance. :D

"

To hear a voice

and not to speak

against the one who said

All of those things

you 'know' are wrong

to which you turn your head.

To see a face

and not to judge

upon initial glance.

To hear a song

of any kind

and without bias, dance.

To hear a voice

and not to speak

against the one who said

Just stop and think

and listen, too

and learn a thing instead.

I think we could all do a little more listening and a lot less talking at times. I am guilty as charged :-)
