A piece that I am currently working on

Nobody ever mentioned how easily one person could take over another’s life. 

Nobody ever brought up how it only took a short while for a heart to beat for someone outside of its body. 

Nobody ever told her that a name could make her stop breathing. 

She wondered how nobody thought to tell her how much love could hurt.

 

She wished to tell everyone, how fast people come and how much faster they leave. 

She tried to tell people, to stay alone before they started to fear it. 

She begged people to let her tell them, not to trust. 

But nobody listened.
