Quiet.

Quiet.

A Poem by ikibala222
"

something happened that night...

"

“you need someone who is

…relentless.”

Hollow sweetness

Filling the abyss of

My bones

Maybe my

Past is

Right.

Pulsing to the

Jungle drum

Beat of my

veins.

Or else my

“now” is lying

To Me.

Timeless melody.

“…you are not

that way…”

Taken in by

The myths within.

My muscles spasm.

My jaw clenches.

Sacred Echo.

My body collapses.

I am not the same.

“I wish I could just…

Be in your body.”

I am not

What I

Am.

Quiet.

All I search for is…

Take me.

Quiet.

My favorite line in this poem was "pulsing to the jungle drum beat of my veins" I am not sure why, it just seemed to flow right off the tongue. I have never heard something like that before, it was wonderful. Again, you have impressed me. I love your work. Raw, empowered, beautiful. I will continue to indulge in your reading, for it brings me inspiration and wonder. Amazing.
