Poem1

　

I have got to stop living like this

a one legged man without shoes

a crow in the snow

a thin woman smoking a cigar

in front of ethan allens statue

in the uvm park

a bottle of water sits on top of a car roof, the

sun settles its score with winter

leaving tips, a couple of quarters on the picnic table I sit at

and then get up to leave thinking how

ordinary, how stoic and how little I

think about the continual expansion

of the universe.
