what

what

A Poem by kmartell

i step my feet  through a fence

enter a forest alone

georgia mountain

what can ring the bell of a tree

summer wind whispered wild notions to me

saying

 i lost those i love

i lie over there behind the stone wall

in trees

a graveyard  1790' 1861' a childs death,

with family still ghosts gathered around

(white poplar seed drifting in the air,  i let them go,  let them go

was made blind by my own volition.

who

bends the universe

summers  ago

A poem that fascinates me, the use of majic ( dialect ?), then heart break not heartbreak, then the great image of the the white poplar. A poem that I really like.

you will lose, but you will gain, the universe is all about balance

your words are beautiful, ethereal, a whole new level of poetry for you

these are words that i could come back to everry day forever and never get tired of resting in the lines and spaces
