Utterly

Utterly

A Poem by kmartell

The trouble with everything

Is

Where it leaves me

so alone i dont feel alone like an idiot reading the news

 plunging out of my heart

 with coffee

Pressed for time

I cannot find a clock i

Leave this table the waitress  is day dreaming like

fruit, orange bright lemon,

memory of another late summer...

loading the blue station wagon a giant sears and roebuck tent took up

the whole back

i had a family once where did that go...

 ...since i have

banished lonliness, heart ache still comes, i cannot point at myself

who am i? who?
