MisplacedA Poem by Krista GallantAnguish, prodigious Compassion searching for its way home Yet grit is all that is acknowledged Relics of hearts depraved of love and accompaniment
Misplaced are the passions of humankind Disguised as success, power and greed Incurring expenses way beyond means Shan’t not be grieved once deceased
Sorrow, devastating Constantly whirling to the surface Aching bones not from age but meagreness Forsaken sanguinity as deep as the blues of the sky and the seven seas
Misplaced is the benevolence of many Misguided trials, errors and voracities Transcending judgement of what is owed Desolation as gray as the gloomiest storm clouds
Adoration, broadening Freed if bitten by the fangs of love Warming up misplaced souls inundated in dew Exposing one’s own fault of chaos partaken
Misplace self-fears, sadness and tears Exterminate the suffering vermin of man The cure for melancholy not found in any vial Yet within the humanity of every human © 2014 Krista GallantFeatured Review
