Sensing in Silence

Sensing in Silence

A Poem by Krista Gallant

The Dark

Your Breath

My Neck

Our Touch

Feverish heat combating the cool night air

Forbidden lust can never more be forswear

Facetious remarks combated by desired tone

Favouring to feast on saccharine flesh and bone

The Silence

Your Tongue

My Mouth

Our Lips

Factorial urges expanding as momentum gains

Flourishing passion dominating pumping veins

Feelings heightened when yearned actions sly

Fading apprehensive doubts under moonlit sky

The Stars

Your Strength

My Weakness

Our Embrace

Failures no longer invading your attainable goals

Forever this moment imprinted in our souls

Fenceless hearts receiving love`s bounty

Fantasy irradiating and entwining our reality

The Ground

Your seed

My rain

Our End

Feverishly forbidden and facetiously favoring

Factorial and flourishing with feelings fading

Failures returned forever by a fenceless fantasy

It sort of builds to a crescendo then plummets but, doesn't let the reader down either, a stirring one, nicely pen'd.
