Just a Dream

Just a Dream

A Poem by Krista Gallant

You sit and look toward me, across the distance of the room

Our eyes are touching softly, while I hear exotic tunes

Your temple strong and sensual, so enticing bids to me

My lust now held as prisoner, is begging somehow to be freed

The room is filled with people, but it's only you and I

I've let my dream take over, to fuel this flame inside

Your outer thigh I'm touching, with just my fingertips

Moving up so slow and easy, as I brush your heated hips

Our kiss turns now to passion, savoring lover's sweet wine

I must sample every flavor, offered to me angelically divine

You press yourself up to me, the invitations all I need

I trail kisses to this eagerness, which is now begging me

I'd take you at this moment, not another second spent

And quench this flame now burning, too hot for me to vent

I need you now and forever more, to be possessed as your own

I tear to think there’s nothing else, and find myself alone.
